Personal Training in McLean, VA
Move better. Live stronger.
Kinect Fitness & Recovery is a personal training studio in McLean built on one idea: real strength comes from moving well, not moving fast. Every program starts with how your body moves — a free consultation and movement assessment — and builds from there with controlled, purposeful training through your full range of motion.
No cookie-cutter workouts. No getting crushed for the sake of it. Just 20+ years of coaching experience applied to your body, your history, and your goals.
Training options
Private Training
One-on-one coaching for specific, individual goals. Every session is built around your assessment: your movement patterns, your strength levels, your schedule. The fastest route to results, and the right choice if you’re working around pain, an old injury, or a long layoff.
Partner Training
Train with a partner for extra motivation and accountability while still following a program built for both of you.
Small Group Training
The energy of a class with the attention of a coach who knows your body. Small groups of similarly focused adults working toward shared goals.
In-Home Training
We bring the gym to you. In-home personal training across McLean, Great Falls, and the surrounding Northern Virginia area — same assessment-first approach, in your space.
Hybrid & Online Training
Train in person and on your own schedule with programming in the Kinect Fitness app. Every hybrid plan starts with Read the Lift — our virtual lift assessment — so your program is built from how you actually move.
Post-rehab strength training
Many Kinect clients arrive after physical therapy ends — stronger than they were, but not yet back to the life they want. That gap is where we work. With a background as a post-rehab specialist, Graeme builds strength programs that respect surgical histories, joint issues, and the compensations your body learned while it was protecting something.
Kinect Fitness provides strength and movement coaching, not medical care. We work alongside your physician’s or physical therapist’s guidance, and we’ll always refer you back to a clinician when something needs one.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need experience to start?
No. The assessment exists precisely so your program starts at your level — whether that’s your first session ever or a return after years of training.
What does the free consultation include?
A conversation about your goals and history, a movement screen, and a strength assessment — then honest recommendations. There’s no obligation and no package pitch before the assessment.
I’m finishing physical therapy. Is this the right next step?
That’s one of the most common starting points here. Bring your PT’s guidance; your program is built around it.
Where in McLean are you located?
1749 Old Meadow Road, Suite 120, McLean, VA 22102 — sessions run at The Sculpted Sanctuary, at Great Falls Movement Center, or in your home.
Do you offer online training?
Yes — hybrid coaching through the Kinect Fitness app, starting with a Read the Lift virtual assessment of your actual lifts.
Your first step is a conversation, not a commitment.
