Read the Lift
A form check gives you cues. A Read gives you the pattern.
Your lifts are already telling the truth about how you move — where you shift, which side works harder, what changes as you fatigue. Read the Lift is a frame-by-frame analysis of your own working sets, measured, reviewed, and signed off by a coach with 20+ years of experience. You film. We read. You get a plain-English report and a short list of exactly what to target next.
How it works
1. Film your lifts. Follow our simple filming guide — two angles, phone at hip height, one working set. Deadlift, squat, split squat, or all three.
2. We read every frame. Key frames are pulled and measured — bottom position, left vs. right, first rep vs. last rep — then connected into one picture.
3. Your coach reviews it. Every analysis is checked against the full video by Graeme personally. No report goes out without his sign-off.
4. You get the report. Within 3 business days: the findings, what they mean, and up to 3 things to target — each with drills, sets and reps, and cues for your next session. Plus a retest plan so you can measure the change in 6–8 weeks.
What a Read finds
• Left-to-right differences you can't feel yet
• Compensations under load — a hip shift, a knee drifting in, a side quietly doing the work
• Range limits that decide what you should (and shouldn't) load
• How your form changes from rep 1 to rep 8 as fatigue sets in
This is a movement screen, not a medical diagnosis. If your intake shows red flags — sharp pain, numbness, a recent surgery without clearance — we'll refer you to a physical therapist or doctor first. That's not a disclaimer; it's how a careful coach works.

Who it’s for
• You train on your own and want a professional read on your big lifts — without hiring a full-time coach
• You've been told your form "looks fine" but something still feels off on one side
• You're returning to lifting and want to know what to fix before the weight goes up
• Hybrid and online clients who want proof their movement is improving, not just their numbers
FAQ
How do I film?
After checkout you get a filming guide: angles, phone height, distance, and reps for each lift. Any smartphone works.
How long until I get my report?
Within 3 business days of your videos arriving.
Is this a medical assessment?
No. It's a movement screen by a strength coach. We screen for red flags at intake and refer out when something needs a clinician.
How is this different from posting my lift in a forum?
A form check gives you a few cues from strangers. A Read measures both sides and every phase of the lift, connects the findings into one pattern, and ends with a prioritized plan — reviewed by a coach with 20+ years of experience.
What happens after my Read?
Every report ends with a next step if you want one: a virtual consult, a program built around your findings, or hybrid coaching with retests every month.
What do you do with my videos?
They're stored in a private folder, used only for your analysis, and deleted after 90 days unless you opt in to retests. Your intake includes consent for AI-assisted measuring; your coach reviews and approves everything before it reaches you.
Your next PR is hiding in your last set of five.
